To ensure that our technology is sufficiently flexible and capable of being portable to other venues, the current version of nomoreforms™ has been developed using the Java™2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE) Specification.

 

By applying the J2EE Specifications, nomoreforms™ takes full advantage of Java's distributed object technology, Model View Controller (MVC) design, Network Communication and Database connectivity.

 

The nomoreforms™ software was designed under the MVC server based design pattern. Java Server Pages™ (JSP) and Java Servlets™ are combined to represent the Control / View portion of the MVC design. Enterprise Java Beans™ and Data Access Objects are used to represent the Model portion. By applying the combination of JSPs, Servlets EJBs and DAOs into the nomoreforms™ internal design, nomoreforms™ can be seamlessly integrated into any Application Server that supports the J2EE Specification. Since Database Connectivity is handled via the DataSource objects, nomoreforms™ can be integrated easily to any database that supports the Java DataBase Connectivity™ (JDBC - version 2.)

 

The current version of nomoreforms™ fully supports any variation of n-tier infrastructures, meaning the Web Server, JSP / Servlet Engine, Application Server (with EJB Container support) and Database can all be separate components. nomoreforms™ can also be integrated into any Application Server that supports Web Containers (Web Servers and JSP / Servlet engine) and EJB Containers in the same configuration.

 

nomoreforms™ is not code dependent and accommodates Load Balancing, native Fault Tolerance techniques and Database Connection pooling. These are handled by the Web Server, Application Server and Database.

 

nomoreforms™ was intentionally designed to be platform independent. A 100% Java solution was implemented to leverage the Java Virtual Machine™ (JVM) which supports all the technologies that were used in the development of nomoreforms™.

 

nomoreforms™ uses standard industry accepted communication protocols - HTTP, HTTPS / SSL, RMI / IIOP, FTP and JNDI™.

 

nomoreforms™ uses SSL / 128 bit encryption for secure web communications. For data transfers (exporting and importing ) nomoreforms™ uses PGP encryption to ensure data security.
